Vertical Calendar 2021
Idea
The Vertical Calendar 2021 was designed to blend traditional timekeeping with modern minimalism, creating a functional and visually elegant calendar. The aim was to produce a high-quality printed calendar that not only serves as a tool for daily organisation but also elevates the aesthetic of workspaces and living areas. By using a clean, column-based layout and calming colour palette, the calendar encourages clarity, calm and consistent planning throughout the year.
We wanted to offer an alternative to cluttered designs by focusing on simplicity and structure. The deep blue tones with subtle red accents reflect professionalism and balance, making the calendar a practical yet visually impactful object. It is ideal for professionals and design-conscious users seeking both style and function in their daily tools.
Process
The calendar was brought to life through the advanced features of Adobe InDesign. Precision tools were used to execute a complex structure with clean alignment, ensuring both beauty and clarity. Every element – from text hierarchy to layout rhythm – was carefully considered to maintain functional readability within a bold artistic framework.
